OSCAR is saying both are low grade STAT hard drive boards, how ever neither came from a hard drive.

I have experienced the same thing you have described.
O.S.C.A.R. is experimental and you will get spot on results and of course the occasional "way out in left field" answer.
I have also experienced uploading the same PCB photo twice and getting two different results. Not to worry.
I go to the escrap price list pictures and videos. I suggest you watch and rewatch them. And then yes. Rewatch again.
There is valuable information jam packed in them.
So. This is my evaluation of your pictured PCBs. Based on pictures and videos. Note. Not based on practical everyday scrapping experience. Or personal interaction with Boardsort.
The first one. High Telecom. Why? Small board with high density and gold connector. Also. No junk on board. Low profile.
The second board. I personally would put it in WIFI. You got gold fingers. Good chip population. It just intuitively by my estimation fits WIFI. You have removed the shielding which is not required in WIFI category. But if you ever did. You would basically see what you have pictured.
It would be better if a forum member with long term experience chimed in.
I am here to learn. Just like everybody else.
So take my evaluation "with a grain of salt" .
Good luck.

The first board I think is some sort of RAM its out of a WYSE terminal. Although it doesn't go in RAM category.
The second I think is a wifi card, but its not a laptop wifi card.

It is most helpful to know where the board came from. But. I have my mystery box of PCBs I can only make guesses at.
That WIFI board. I would put it in WIFI. I submitted 3 strange lookin WIFI boards to Boardsort and got no negative feedback. The strangest looking one came from one of those circular automatic vaccum cleaners you let roam around in your house. It was clearly marked WIFI. About the size of a regular Laptop WIFI. But was just strange looking. It did have gold fingers. It was 2 small boards piggybacked on one another. It had good chip density. The other 2 looked a lot like the one you have shown.
Your RAM board. I would not put it in RAM category. It has NO gold fingers. That is important. Just look at the Gold Finger prices. I feel strongly gold fingers better be on a board submission for purchase in the Gold Finger Ram category. So. I am still thinking High Telecom for the other board.
You can always email boardsort directly.
And there are many escrap videos online
(Youtube) that cover PCB identification.
One has to put in the time and get educated. And then. Still. It ends up a best guess.

I forgot to mention.
Go to the E-Scrap Forum General Discussion.
Then go to the topics.
The very first entry is by the author 'jojothe junkman'.
The topic is: "explaination of different boardsort categories"
I found it most helpful.
And. Overall. I would go and read all of the Annoucements in the various sections of the Forum. And other topics. It can give you a real good feel of the escrap business.
