Here's a power board that came out of a server. I believe these were specifically for the hard drives. For fun I decided to rip one apart for at least the copper and aluminum. But with the odd amount of gold foil I'm curious if I should bother with the other one. I was planning on tossing it in low grade, but are some parts here better elsewhere?
Here is the process of my teardown.

Following....I have a box of those power supplies where the long skinny board with the chips is attached to the main board with gold plated pins that are soldered at the connection

Not sure if the gold plating on the power supplies is adequate for the gold finger category (typically they just want pci type gold fingers) but if you're removing them, try a pair of tin snips to get a nice clean cut as close to the gold as possible.

I'm not sure, but it seems like the fingers would be thicker plating than a regular GFC; however, the board would not be considered a GFC because of the content.

I should clarify, the trimmed gold fingers category at the top of the price list for just the fingers
