What would this router be categorized as?

There is gold pins in the ethernet connection but i don't see any IC chips.

peripheral High grade or low grade telecom?

High peripheral after you take the top shields off. Looks like those are the type you can pop the top off easily with a small flat head around the top or lower rim.

Snip the ends of the wire as close as you can to the adapter and push in pin. Either keep pin for gold pins, or push it back on where it connects.
