i have some intel Pentium 2 podp66x333 sl3ea v1.1 overdrive processors, they are socket 8, made to replace the ceramic pentium pro gold cap. in the identification forum you said to list them as 386/486 gold cap. is this the right category?

Where did you see that they would be classified as 386/486 gold cap? They aren't ceramic and don't have a gold cap, so don't know how they would be classified as the same. If nobody else responds, send an email to Chris at Boardsort and see what he says about it.

Apple CPU would have been my guess as well for the low end of possibilities. I could see an argument for a better rate but I'm not sure how high that might go.
