how do I classify old zip drive boards (3.5 floppy)? I don't know what to put them under

Those are nice looking boards. I cannot speak for boardsort but I would say they are at least low telcom, if not high. The ones I have seen have as many or more ic’s on them than a cd rom board. But they did not come from a cd rom so my understanding is they cannot be in that class. You most likely would have got a reply sooner if you posted a picture
