Everything shown is standard wires. For boardsort it's just wire. If you have enough, a few lbs, you should do a standard yard. Sata cables and ATA and SCSI ribbon cables all tend to go #1 wire while most rest of computer wire tends to go #2. About a 20-30 cent difference. Flat wire, for recycling terms, is single stranded wires in a flat thin laminate. Boardsort again doesn't differentiate but that should almost always go locally anyway. Flat wire is almost always clean nickel or silver wire. Unless it has a black masking which is the method for marking gold wires.
Nickel flat wire goes nickel #2 @$2.50-$3/lb Rarer silver flat wire goes Ag2 @5-5.50 an ounce Gold flat wire (high end dual video cards, bluray players, digital cameras etc) range from $15/oz on up
All based on today's rates from West Melrose and All American Electronics , both in Chicago.
