Are ALL pins with gold plating considered gold plated pins? Regardless of the waste of time it might be, are they all gold plated pins. For example, from USB plugs or the tiny pins found on the inside of the port a gold finger card inserts into. As I'm typing this I feel like im answering my own question. Lol

All "pins" are not considered good plated pins for the , gold plated pin price. There is also high grade gold plated pins, which usually companies only have but they range above that grade. If you have pins in question , it's best to just post a pic and see if it qualifies.

Everything you said is a gold pin for gold pin class. There are some that don’t qualify.
As spence said some are worth more than general rate
And
Some aren’t worth as much, such as ground standoff pins.

99% of the pins in a consumer computer will be classed as regular gold pins though
