Got some old Cisco phones in and wasn't sure if the boards are better than peripheral or not, they don't seem populated enough to be better but wanted to make sure.

Also V2 board pics has gold flashing on the back, those boards have a removable phone jack board, best to remove those to clear it of screws/stand offs?
