Lost #1 not sure if you can see it in the picture but they are gold finger as well as have a socket. Are they still considered peripheral?

Yes. There’s really nothing here. The pins in the sockets weigh nothing so the only thing it has going for it is the finger. As peripheral It’s still more than if you striped it for clean fingers and gold pins and had an empty board and plastic left behind.

Smaller ones often make peripheral but some larger 90•risers can actually fall into gold pin connector just because there’s more weight than value.

**IF you harvest gold fingers**

I would trim the fingers off those risers/expansions and just throw them in gold pin connector ends.
