They're usually silver on nickel or brass.
If they're gold and not bare brass boardsort may be interested. But you'll need to email Chris and ask. If not... a jewelry shop.

Only twice and both times were on military surplus equipment.
Gold, it is probably heavy plate. How well does the pins bend? Easy or or hard.
Assuming military spec:
Easy says gold on copper or nickel like most jewelry. Nickel if it's ferromagnetic.
If hard to bend a pin it will be on "shell" brass or 384 stainless. That would probably fall into the class if dental gold for most recyclers.
Good find!

I have also found these gold plated transistors, though mine were found on some medical lasers from the 80s and 90s. The colour looks off in the photo but they are a rich gold colour.

I have cracked the black plastic that encased them. They are magnetic.

What price is dental class usually?

Dental gold just means it includes plastic or clay/enamel of some sort. Meaning a large amount of included weight is non-gold.
Something like the first picture would probably be sorted as bridge work or crowns in keeping the dental analogies. Where that second picture would fit in with posts.
It's a way to get a recycler or refiner to /up/ the classes if they give you flak. a did you consider this... thing.
I'm not sure if board sort would be interested or not. They take pins and scan them on site.
So they /may/.

I have no way of placing a value on them without testing. And any reputable company would request that of you. If they offer cash without testing chances are you're being under paid.

Your best bet is a spectral scan to test what the true contents are. Be that boardsort or locally.
While chances are gold plated nickel at $20-80+ depending on various factors you're equally possible of having thin plated steel at $1-$3 on average.
You're better off locally with this if a solution exists because boardsort doesn't deal specifically with precious metals. The payouts are going to be <85Prts where a jewelry shop could be closer to 90-92.

Just dont send it to a cash for gold company. Advertising aside the national average from them all is under 60Prts

Prts is percent rate to spot. The reduction in pure rate they use to base against for alloys and plated material
Eg gold 24 at 1200.xx is 1000/oz 92prts
