Any suggestions as to how to get that Dallas box off?
Do I need to pull any thing else off of these boards?

They’re usually socketed. That said this appears to be soldered. :(
The r4060 looks socketed. If so you can pop it out. Then you should have enough room to get a pair of vice grip or slip jaw players in there. Two sides of the 04 at 8804. Squeeze firmly but not tightly, and rock (left-right) and tug till you can rip it off. Gently

If that won’t work you have to options; both disassembly.
Ideally you have a small enough Standard screw driver AND can find the seam of the box. The top is a lid. Usually it’s just a friction lid but sometimes it’s glued. You can slide the screwdriver in and pop the lid.

If that doesn’t work you’ll need to very carefully ‘munch’ away at the lid. You want slip jaws for that, not vice grips. At the highest top most points of the sides square the slip jaws hard with a rocking but vertical motion. You literally want to chew a hole on an upper corner. With a hole you can then gently slide a screwdriver in and pro the lid off. (Outside down inside up!)

Two types of Dallas box. Package and cylinder.
Package.
Once open gently pull the battery cell out part way. Use wire cutters to snip the wires. Red first. Then blue or black.
If there’s no red wire black first then the other one.
Cylinder
Get a larger standard screwdriver. Place the blade between the shell and a side and break the plastic side. Now gently jam the blade under the cylinder and pry it vertically. One good hard push down on the handle/up on the blade, works best. You need enough force to break the solder points between the contacts and terminals.

If all that fails: wrap the board separated from the rest. Mark it clearly. Email Chris with your order number. Tell him the truth: you’ve crossed a stubborn Dallas box and can’t get it loose.
Make sure to ship your order GROUND.

On the first picture can I pull that gold terminal about center of the board?
And do I need to pull those heavy metal silver colored jacks on the right side?

This is the second board after I seen the wire clip holding the heat sink down. What do these chips go as?

The third photo down. I'd pull those two Motorola gold caps. So what if the board is down graded? That's better than selling those AU caps for $5 a pound when you could get $125 a pound for them. You don't have to have a pound to sell them. If they're soldered vs socketed, get a heat gun and a mask. It would only take about 7 minutes using a cheap Harbor Freight heat gun. Just saying...

If they are socketed that’s the route to take. Don’t pull them if they’re soldered.
Pinless Motorola gold caps are considerably lower value than the pin counterparts.

I cant tell for sure they are soldered or socketed.
There is some sort of black plastic piece underneath them.
Maybe I am looking at this all wrong.....but, that board weighs almost 1-1/2lbs so almost $7. Those two chips cant weigh an ounce do they?

The smaller one is usually just about one ounce. The larger under 2.
It varies by production run though.
