Fastest way is with an acid test. You can find them on ebay for $3-$20 and free shipping

If you don't have acid or don't like that idea use a bleach test. Pour about 1 cup of concentrated Clorox into a small glass or measuring cup (glass not plastic ) and cut a few pins in half and drop them in. If the gold is above 12-14 k it will be a nice cleaning for the pins. If it's plated or non-gold or a lower class the bleach will turn black and smell funky. It's not as dangerous as acid and can be diluted with water and disposed of safely (and legally) down the drain.

3rd option find a coin shop locally or a jewelry shop that does REPAIRS. Skip pawn shops or resale. Bring them a few and ask them to test if for you. ... ask for a direct application test on a cut pin. Best way to tell.

Finally you can email chris and send them to board sort for review
