Thank you in advance for any and or all help. I am new here and do this for a charity so trying to get the most money from it.

1. If I remove the IC chips off of low/mid grade boards do they still take them? If not what if I take some off and leave some?

2. Is it worth taking apart a newer laptop or better to sell it as is?

3. Leave the gold fingers on RAM or take them off?

4. Phone SIM cards are they taken here?

1) i believe yes but there's a lower payout for blank boards

2)if the laptop works sell it as a laptop to someone. If it's dead break it down. Motherboard is large socket. Ram. Expansion cards are often gold finger cards or telco. Remove and scratch the heatsink they're often copper in laptops not aluminium.
Sell the screen whole. If it was working and not cracked there are sites that will pay up to 25-50+ for working screens. (Google sell lcd display ) if cracked board sort has a category for them.
3) leave finger on.
4)yes. Sort them separate. Think they're going between 25-30c or so last i heard.
