A note on vcr heads.
Those older vcrs, the metal cased full sized ones fron the 80s, have a cobalt ring in the heads, not an iron polymer. You'll want to have them scanned. Cobalt is trending in the $10-$12 range. @8-14.

Newer ones out of plastic vcrs, don't separate the heads, just tell the yard what it is and ask for drink can rate, a bit higher than Cbm @45¢-55¢/lb. Many will comply
