So I'm not sure if these just go into gold finger boards or if they are a little better?

I have exactly the same ones. For Back Planes as long the two boards have gold fingers they can go with your Gold Fingers Cards. On the other hand, if only one of the boards has gold fingers then you would have to separate them since one board will be Gold Finger Card and the other one would a lower grade....depending on what it looks like.
