What is the best way to clean the orange puddle off the large board? That is where the battery leaked.

A small piece of packing tape. (Use gloves for this)
Stick it down for a few moments. Then pick it up. Anything loose on the surface will come off with that. Fold it over and place in trash.
Pop a new piece of tape over the spot before you send it in.
