Hi

I have just finished sorting thru "the pile", removing batteries and brushing off the grass, leaves and bugshells. Most of the sorting was pretty straight forward but since this was my first time to sort motherboards I do have a few questions.

Apple1.jpg On the left is a board for Apple's version of a slot processor. I think these go as large socket. On the right is a board of the same size and I/O configuration but it has an IBM fiber flatpack soldered to the board...no socket, how is this graded?

Apple 2.jpg On the right is a board with a socket very similar to one for a 486, I think this one is a large socket. On the left is a similar board but it has a motorola flatpacck...nosocket, how is this graded?

Apple 3.jpg These boards have AMP sockets that measure 1 5/8 pin to pin. Just wondering on this if age trumps the size making it large socket?

no socket1.jpg & no socket2.jpg are (more) examples of boards with no sockets but instead have the flatpack CPU soldered directly to the board. How are these graded?

no socket3.jpg Same as above except with large gold capped ceramic PGA thru mounted. How are these graded?

slot1.jpg Don't even know what to say about these except to ask what pile do I throw them in?

I would toss the CPU socket boards with your finger cards. The motherboards those came out of can go as large socket boards. I'll leave it to boardsort to grade the rest.

All of those are Large Socket Motherboards except for slot1.jpg which are Gold Finger Cards.
