Wanted to see where these would fall, and if the black bullet shaped item should be removed.

Here's why
left: testing board that's a nice silver trace board. Silver nickel legs. Big gold plate connector. It's fine as is
Right/middle
Big cpu. Lots of CMCs, no garbage. Both sides are fully gold flashed. Giant gold/gold plate jumpers

I would cut the end off , but not remove completely, one of those two jumpers/contracts. There's a very slight chance it may be gold all the way through which would be worth far more than the board in any class. Such situations are not unheard of.
