Just wondering if it is necessary to strip the cards down as shown? Would stripping them down improve the grade?

Mounting brackets can be left on. Heatsinks on video cards do need to be removed. If you are shipping materials, removing the brackets will allow you to pack fingered cards in more tightly, so you may be able to save on shipping.

No chance they would be upgraded with the bracket removed eh... Shipping steel to Ohio seems a little counter intuitive. Nevertheless, if the cards are graded the same then I will leave them on. Thanks for the info.

Yes, leave them on and on cards such as the red one, just take a pair of needle nose pliers and wrap that metal bracket around the board. Still got all the weight and saves a lot of space when shipping.
