If I have some number 1 pipe and smash is flat to save space in the shipping box will board sort still take it as number one ? I'm guessing yes but wanted to make sure.

on a side not my local scam yard has a new rule for number 2, any coper wire is automatically #2 insulated, does not mater if it has no installation... yeah.what screw balls.

Some yards can get picky about flat pipes containing anything that can't be removed due to being smashed...be that oil residue or heavy mineral deposits/oxidation or nefarious scrappers sticking stuff in them before flattening.

Not sure what boardsort's policy is but I imagine proven customers that know what their doing can probably do so.

that was my thoughts. smashing them brakes up any lime/calcium that might be in them. if you ask me they're cleaner that way but I can understand not wanting smashed pipe as one can hide stuff in them. if no one chimes in with first hand experience i will email Chriss
