I have almost 100 AM radios from a closed car dealership. These are from the 70's and 80's

Is there any E scrap value to them ?

Or should I toss them in the shred pile at the local scrap yard ?

Thanks

Gonna depend on the radios and how much effort you're able to put into dismantling them.

Are they all the same or fairly similar? If so you could take one apart and take pictures for us, based on what's there we can give advice and you can determine how to proceed.

I want to say these might be worth selling but having sat on a pile of old 80s AM/FM ford radios for over a year without selling one I would scrap them.
I would open one up and see whats inside them, I"m wiling to bet they are transistor based so low grade board at the least could be found in them. the 80s ones might have some peripheral boards in them.

If you have a classic car dealership around you I’d give them a call.
If that is not available I’d head for ebay.

You can part them out and ebay them as well.
Unless they’re stainless steel or aluminium cases and caddies there’s not much to scrap for cash.
