I am totally aware of if it is not soldered in remove it and I usually do.
But in this case it would pay to leave the cpu attached to the MB.
Pic 1 is board and cpu separately pic 2 is cpu on board.
I ask this question because I have about 50 of these laptops to dismantle and at that point I am loosing money on taking the cpu off because of the pricing. Leaving it on the board is $.50 a pound more for the cpu in the overall price. Or should I pull it off and toss it in with the High Garde Telcom?
