Would this board be worth more if I separated everything from it or left it all together? Also, can someone explain how do I find out how to identify my chips? So I can type in the weight of each to find my price. Please, Iv scraped for a while now, and I always just threw the whole board for a few penny's, but now Iv realized that I can take them apart for each piece but I'm not educated about what is what. There’s no expansion cards or socketed ICs so not much value reason to remove anything
Board is peripheral.

You can identify generic pieces by clicking on links of the item names in the pay out rates link at the top of every page.
Or by posting photos.

As Chris, myself, and others have pointed out across this forum there is little value advantage to taking apart boards on the small scale. Pull out anything in a socket or slot.
Remove any batteries.
Ignore soldered components. (Unless someone says to remove something to upgrade a board. Such as a capacitor on a ram expansion)

The most extreme of obvious examples a soldered ceramic processor with a gold cap makes a gold cap chip board.
Removing the chip gives you a midgrade or peripheral board and a SUN CPU.
Much lower value.

Hey Thanks so much. So these chips, aren't worth removing? I have a good bit of them and plan on getting more.
So in the case you were to buy from me, would you prefer this board as is, or that I'd take everything I have and remove anything of worth from the boards?
Thanks also, I found the item pictures. One issue though, all the chips that are example 17-7654 a number dash some more numbers; how do I identify what type of chips I have? They all have writing on them, but nothing matches the listing under the "we buy cpu "area.
Finally, are there any items not on this site that you buy?

No. If it’s soldered to the board don’t remove it.
Chris, the bossman, actually made a topic up above stating that removing items from boards makes the board midgrade.
In the more general aspect of escrap there’s no real reason to remove soldered items.

Most cpus fall into one of the scrap categories.
The working cpu program is a short list it CPUs they can not quickly test and quickly resell as non-scrap.
None of them are soldered chips.

There are some special items that are uncommon in escrap that they will take.
If you post a photo i can say yes no or maybe and then pass it on to them.
The general answer is if it’s not on the list they don’t buy it but the more real world answer is every rule has exceptions.
I’ve sold them silver wiring racks and high end old analog equipment.
Others have sold analog telco equipment and aerospace stuff that doesn’t fit into the generic price list.
