Welcome to BoardSort.

Nice to have yet another deep knowledge user to point out back stories.
Being a Chicago native I actually dealt with Williams in my early employment years (early 90s) when I worked with Sega, AGC, and CompuServe.
Williams is a company that deserves better than their ending. Something I don’t say lightly in the cut-throat world of tech.

Williams and Bally going by the wayside surprised me.
Pittsburgh area for me. I worked Arcades for a major east coast company.
Specifically. Arcades in Mall locations.
Sega bought the company out. I had moved on to other things before then.
Data East came on the scene. Sega. Electronic manufacturing was going to Asia.
You had the 5 Tigers over in Asia as they called them in the late 80's.
That's just how high tech went.
That amusement company soon went out of business after the Sega buy out.
I could go on and on. I was working when Space Invaders came out. Talk about addictive. I worked on the first talking pinball. Gorgar.
Lots of other innovative games. Some real failures.
But. Yeah. Everybody has thier favorite game. Some with long term holding ability.
Donky Kong is one of them. Pac Man. Asteroids. Missle Command. Defender. To name a few.
Then you have your pins. 8-ball. 8-ball Deluxe. Firepower. Flash. Atari's Superman. Paragon. Black Hole. Haunted House. The list goes on.
Oh. And the Kiss pinball. That game was about 1200 dollars when it came out.
Now. You can see one listed for 5000.
Everybody has thier favorite game it seems.
Driving games and shooting games always make money as a rule. Also games with Card themes.
But that is amusement business theory.
Those were the days. Packed arcades so tight you could barely walk through them. Kids fighting. I enjoyed the constant new innovation. Everything going digital. New circuitry. Going to manufacturer seminars.
I repaired, updated and revised a Williams Laser Ball many years ago.
Beautiful wide body pin. Also worked up a Stern Lightning. Beautiful backglass.
Lostinlodos I am not in any type of business. I brought back those games as a labour of love.
The owner foot the bill for parts etc.I enjoyed every minute working those games back.
I came across Boardsort because I had a cache of old parts etc. And rather than put them to the curb for trash day. I sold a small quanity to Boardsort.
I am intrigued by the electronic waste industry. Just a curiosity I cashed in on for a few dollars.

Now that we’ve hijacked the post lol.
Bally Didn’t surprise me any more than Atari earlier and Sega later.
Too many products in too many places and a need for a bleeding edge machine. Atari with the vmx tape game platform that went nowhere and they did it all over again with the jaguar? Bally pushed their mobile note pad and game units and casino equipment and all with chips nobody could figure out. And Sega, poor Sega. The Saturn was a decade too early.
(The interesting side note on the jaguar and Saturn is both remain the only game systems more than a two generations old that have not been able to be recreated on a single SOC).

Williams was just like commodore. Stupid mismanagement.

Back to the post, there’s no reason to scrap them. But if op does the main boards are high telco.

Thank you all for your ideas. I am really a noob at all this, I have sent very few shipments to Boardsort, much less something like this. My local buyer did come through so I no longer have these boards. I did see that the Williams boards were for Joust.
Sorry I did not know of the selling opportunities mentioned by "Lost" and others. I'm living and learning through the hard knocks of experience.
