Hey everyone, first time poster and general newbie here. I'm working on learning boards and board sorting accessories but in the interim, is there any value in scrapping stuff like these solenoids/temp switches that are plastic encasing copper other than smashing them for the metal inside? I.E. is there a component category for this stuff?

Newbie. Have not yet sold anything to boardsort. Was previously getting shred prices from a local yard.

Closest category on the price list is probably Motor/Transformer. If you have an easy way to get the copper out it's probably worth it, likely #2 copper.

Boardsort might have a separate category for these but that may be something to ask them directly, unless someone else knows?
