Old poster, new handle. I recently acquired a dozen or less glass quartz heating lamp tubes, about 4 foot long, usual 8 or 10 mm diameter, that have a gold reflective coating on the back half of the tube. Did minimal research, to confirm it is gold (one site said their liquid paint is 10% gold) so realize the quantity of gold isn't huge. Just curious if anyone recycles gold back "mirror glass" (quartz glass tube). Oh, guess this whole question is necessary because all the tubes are broken in half.
