Was a bit surprised to get this from a neighbor. No power adapter or data cords but it's in the original box and looks in pretty good shape.

New they can get over $50 depending on the drive format, generally they run 5 to $25 but depending on disc type and format method could run anything from a few dollars to a few hundred

Haven't decided what I want to do yet. Could be fun to have it to use but then it may just be one if those projects that never goes anywhere... Figured I'd share the find regardless.

That’s for a zenith laptop. An old 8088 system I believe.
It’s probably set for 180k or 360k 40 or 42 track disks.

I wonder if it would connect to a modern computer? Sadly I tossed all my 5.25 floppies years ago. I had some cool BASIC programs saved on those!

They do just fine. However you need an active converter. And some knowledge of file systems as these can only work live with FUSE.
I have two, one for my Mac Studio and one for my BSD machine.
