What catagory would these fall into? I have a couple more that look just like processors with a metal top but where soldered on the mainboard as the northbridge.

Also I have been experimenting with ways of removing componts from mainboards and was wondering if the pci and ide/sata connectors off the mainboard where accepted as connetor ends?

scob89,

Those green chips with the gold colored corner, known as North/South Bridge Flat Packs are graded as Green Fiber No Metal paying $16.50 per pound. This price only applies to the ones that have the gold tabbed corner.

The processor with the metal top will be graded one of two ways:

If the pins are still intact: P4/Green Fiber With Metal at $6.75 per pound.

If the pins are missing: Pinless CPU at $4.50 per lb.

Thanks for the look!
