The larger ceramic part came out of the piece of machinery that rotates around your head to take x-rays at the dentist office, it is fairly heavy about 3x that of a ceramic cpu and appears to have good gold plate on it anybody ever sent in anything like this.
The smaller ceramic piece came out of a cc rreader does boards ort buy either of these and we're should I sort them into category wise

It’s about a 50/50 split on ceramic boards like that in midgrade and peripheral.
These pictured I’d toss in peripheral but to be sure you can always email Chris directly. They are a bit hit or miss where the cutoff is.
I actually go through a fair few of these.

An email warning is a good idea when sending them in though. As I said this stuff is very borderline and straddles the line. If that’s all you have of them you’ll have no trouble tossing them with peripheral but in volume you’ll need to get a more direct instruction from Chris.

On the flip side, the stuff isn’t really all that valuable but damn is it expensive! None of these ceramic boards are mass production. The tec boards are $60 before they’re installed. They’re $00.05 scrap when I remove the burnt out or damaged ones!
Lesson to the dentist: keep the new trainees away from the X-ray equipment!

One final thought. I’ve seen nearly identical boards in ultrasound equipment. Makes you wonder why... this stuff is on VCRs and Med equipment but I cannot get a ceramic AMD vega? Phooey!
