When you start pulling (or buying-receiving etc) parts from non computer electronics you'll start running into all sorts of class benders, things that don't make sense from a tech standpoint, etc. Cable/satellite set top boxes are the worst to classify. If I'm not sure I'll always tell you, and often another mod or MLS can weigh in and help out from their experience as well but occasionally there's boards who's class is ultimately dependent on the person who actually weighs your order on reception. You've got a few in this list.
Oh, and that support shell frame is usually attached with a nickel tin solder to stainless pegs, or has an enamel glue if it's sitting directly on the board. If it's zinc it's almost always marked; z in a triangle, or zn in a circle. And zinc is more valuable than the board and worth breaking the board over.
Otherwise you'll be loosing money (in time) removing it for much of any reason.
