Depends on what you reference as a VoIP phone. An office style desk phone (or cordless) usually supplies one peripheral or low telco board and one midgrade board in the base. A portable handset can be anything
A source switch phone can be fairly nice inside. These have multiple channel buttons on a panel. They tend to have a low and a higher telco hoard. A smaller peripheral, and a low grade.
But nothing is ever guaranteed to be in there. These are just the most common break downs.
