These memory risers are problematic. And have been since I’ve been using Boardsort. At the moment they appear to be gold finger card. That may change.
If there’s no or just 1 or 2 large square ICs on the back the port card is peripheral.
If the back is 4 large squares or one gigantic ic it’s backplane


The big board is peripheral, remove the ‘b-box” battery
The small boards will be backplane


Large socket motherboard


Peripheral


Slot processor
The cases need to be removed.
