Normally this would be textbook telco. However the sealant drops it fast. I sent 6 of these as a unquoted total ? on their own and Chris said peripheral.

These sealants are a pain on the refining side as it permeates everything. So getting them recycled costs much more in resources than a standard chip heavy board.

At best peripheral, worst is automotive board no box. They changed their supply line since I sent mine in.

I see, the other samples in previous posts would have the same sealant on them. So should I send a sample in or something to determine the grade?

I’ll shoot chris a line and see where they are with this stuff at the moment and post back.

My first thought is external led board. Like a billboard or sign whatever it is it’s meant to get wet.

Given the other posts I’m assuming this is all from a big billboard.

Chris said he got back to you directly. But as long as the board is full fledged telco it will go telco even with a thin lacquer or sealant.
