Pleas do. I went back and looked at those NEC chip boards. I see what you mean now. Great photos with clean clear markings on the boards fully legible!
The top most one is definite a stub pin pth with bga mounting.

The bottom one has a socket aperture. Though you are absolutely correct it’s soldered. Both will be half length pins with a .006 ratio.

And well most will say “what?” to that in scrap terms the pins are too short and too thin, the cpu would be downgraded to pentium ceramic AT BEST if you got a complete removal. Pinless at worst (like the much abused and hated sparc III with pins and a massive manganese spreader).
Take the gold cap chip board class and run.
