It's similiar to an Apple CPU and most likely will get that class as scrap. Just because something isn't specifically for a certain brand doesn't mean it won't get classed as such.

The proper term for those is processor cartridge (not to be confused with slot processor). I guess Boardsort calls them Apple CPUs because Apple used CPUs in this form factor from 1990s to mid 2000s. Just like the 8086 IC category is for any ceramic gold capped DIP IC chip even if it is not actually a 8086 processor, and not all 8086 processors were gold capped chips (Intel licensed it to several other companies).
