Thanks Lost.

The first board had a slot processor in it. Does it still get graded as peripheral or large socket mobo?

Yes. It’s not a slot socket (unless my ageing eyes and memory fail me). It’s an esa socket.
Even if it was though it wouldn’t make a motherboard rate as none of the internal expansion, nor any controllers for it, are on the board.

This is a server/workstation class board. All of which bend rules for grading.

Given the pure volume of workstation boards I’ve sent to boardsort over the years I’m confident on this one.

I don’t doubt you. But the simple issue here is it’s missing both the internal expansion AND the controller for it. Meaning 1/3 the motherboard requirements is missing.
You can tell by the large empty square of contacts.

Both Intel and Via made ESA slot processors. AMD made a Socket A to ESA adaptor.
The processor board itself is sought after by collectors. so ebay may be a good choice for you. $20-$25 for DOA ESA slot processors are not uncommon.
