are integrated cpu boards like this considered metal socket or small socket?

These look like server motherboards, small socket. You can remove the CPUs and sell separately, if they're removable sockets.

One is single socket

The other is dual small socket, with two CPUs

Only remove the batteries, the larger ALU heatsinks, and any black masking or plastic that cover components.
