I think that's going to be a custom quote item, is it possible (or practical) to remove that "board" thing from the housing intact? If not it might wind up a peripheral or similar rate (attached to the metal)

Try boiling them, sounds wierd but it works for some other things that are glued real hard, just don't use whatever pot you boiled them in for food again

I’m not positive but yes it does look like storage cubes.
I’m trying to match up one of the numbers on the drive as i type.

If you do boil make sure there’s no glass on that board first.

Be careful using a knife, chisel, cutting or prying methods on these boards. The inside has a lot of nice material, just be careful of not damaging it , trying things like that.

Boiling or using low heat should detach it. You can also try popping out all those nods in the metal the board attaches to and using them to try and peel back the board off the metal.

Another thing, if the metal casing is double ply or has another layer, separate them. They can be stainless and the other nickel. That would be a good payout if so. You'll have to test one for nickel. Plus, maybe you could heat the outside to peel the board or better see how it adheres.

i will try Boiling but the volume I have... each unit is sealed.... here is a side view of the item, i cut the item in 1/2 in the middle looks like the board is connected/glued right to the housing of the sealed unit, i tried to google the numbers, no luck, the number on the back is different to each unit, its not double ply metal is solid top and bottom.

Yep. Look like aero or defence units.
Whatever it is was not ever listed publicly. My database comes up empty though I find some cross-references.
I’ll forward this to Chris and let him reply.

I’ve seen similar boxes in aerospace and nautical. And in commercial IT/Electrical.

One of the numbers come up as the shell design.
Hence cross reference. But it’s a reference point for A case, not THE case.
Whatever it is it’s BTO.

Chris will be by soon to give a better reply as to what it’s worth.
