What makes #3 and #5 CD/DVD? #3 looks like a ti-con board out of monitor and #5 looks like a ti-con board out of a TV. I was guessing that they would go as peripheral.

Despite your accuracy
A) because that is what i sold those exact boards to Chris as
B) DAC + ram + Rom
C) because i said so. ;)

What falls within the CD/DVD/BluRay/HDDVD/CHDVD/VCD......
Class is nothing more than a very highly condensed controller to convert digital binary code to analogue signals. Plus a memory buffer. Plus gold pin ports.

This is one of those experience calls. It’s knowledge of what makes up the ICs. Something in a totally different but related field of computing/IS.

C)... is based on experience. You’ll rarely find a board and such as this from TVs that makes it but when it does it does. The line between peripheral and low telco and cd/dvd is very fine
These make CD/DVD. Chris will pay as such or I’ll cover the difference. I’m absolutely positive.

Btw 3 is a Philips licensed card used in Visio monitors. The DAC is the same found in both Philips and Plextor drives.

5 is identical (after a boatloader mod) to what is found in most LTO 6+ drives.
It’s also, plus one extra chip for display, what is found in EVERY automotive navigation system from 1998-2007. That exact card is in my 2004 Dodge, connected to the pass-through; utilised in the security system.

Thanks for letting me know. I just ask these questions so that I can learn how to grade my own boards better. Thanks again.

One last question I don't see cd dvd boards list on payout rates. So is that a low or migrate board?
