No particular order here but HT, LT, and peripheral?

The peripheral board's in this group.....no problem there (for me) that’s where i had those.
The two low telco really confuse me. The more populated I thought was HT (high telco).
The less populated I thought and have perviously sent those in as peripheral (prior to the split).
The GF card now back up for debate (due to the split) I thought might slip in to LT (low telco) because the fingers look a little thin to me.

The gfc will probably go as the highest gold finger card. There’s no bracket or fan here.

Low telco let’s some of the highest prior telco slip into a slightly more expensive category. It’s the new one. High Telco, formerly telco, still has all the unwritten high end requirements.

Q: How close is the 2nd and last front/back board from trimmed GF card or low telco? It has so much tantalum on it.

Tantalum isn’t a sought after commodity in e-cycling.
It’s roughly considered in various class pricing but will very rarely allow for a class jump. A refinery buying boards isn’t going to sort out tantalum. They will include it in a rare earth’s mix they sell to someone else. As such it has no direct value to a board refinery so they don’t add anything for Chris to upgrade on.
Chris will always look at reasonable exceptions. If you have a thousand, 500, maybe even 100 lbs of boards that are, say, 25% tant weight...
that said as I mentioned rare earths in general as a class of output are factored into the rates for purchase. Which is why Chris, and as an extension myself, constantly point out not to remove items from boards.
These boards have so little it’s not worth it to Chris to figure it out and unless you have a few hundred it’s not worth it to the seller (the YOU) to pull them.
The board downgrade (as server damage) will hurt you more than any tant you post in ebay.

Oh I was just saying it was noticeable, not the fact it made it upgrade. But why the boards not make a higher class? J.w for future grading
